The River warung project Is an extension of the previous river warung restaurant. With additional kitchen and storage downstairs and extra seating upstairs, the extensions are meant to increase the capacity of River Warung restaurant. This 280 sqm restaurant is located at the Bambu Indah resort in Ubud, Bali. Overlooking the Ayung river, this restaurant is also surrounded by jungle and a natural pool.
River Warung restaurant features beautiful split bamboo arches combined with duri bamboo resulting in a sophisticated yet light design. The roof is covered by copper shingles that will age into a green patina that will blend with the dark green of the jungle surrounding it. The leaning wall of the restaurant is covered with natural paras stone that overgrows by moss and fern.
